Residential Substance Use Treatment for Adolescents Foundations Recovery at Alliance Health Center Addiction can arise at any age. If your teen is struggling with substance use disorder, our residential substance use treatment program — called Foundations Recovery at Alliance Health Center — can provide much needed support and care. Foundations Recovery for adolescents is specifically designed to help youth from ages 14 to 18 overcome addiction to drugs or alcohol. Our team works closely with the patient and the patient’s family to develop an individualized treatment plan, which provides a blueprint for recovery. For teenagers and families struggling, there is hope. Foundations Recovery at Alliance Health Center is a 28-day voluntary residential program. Teenagers can come into the center in several ways. Families may make a direct referral. Others are referred through the department of juvenile justice, court system, other providers or official state and community service agencies. Central Location, Extensive Services Located in Meridian, MS, Foundations Recovery is easily accessed via several interstates. The program accepts most major insurances, and we create a plan for each patient’s unique needs through individual, family and group therapy. Our young patients also attend our on-site school. Services are delivered in a highly structured environment designed to provide adolescents with an opportunity to learn skills to help manage behavioral, emotional, educational, familial and social challenges. Our treatment team develops an individualized treatment plan that allows patients to make a smooth transition back to their homes, schools and communities with re-established healthy behaviors. Patients’ daily activities may include: • Individual therapy • Group therapy • Family therapy • Recreational therapy — yoga, pet therapy, music therapy and adventure-based activities • Educational groups • Medication management • On-site school — Patients attend school six hours daily during the school year and four hours during the summer months.
